Massive fire breaks out in Okara rice mill

Bardana gunny bags stored in Al Karim Rice Mill’s godown near Kissan Adda on National Highway in Okara caught fire on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to Rescue 1122 sources, the fire broke out in the godown due to unknown reasons and it engulfed the entire shed containing the gunny bags for wheat.
Two fire tenders from Rescue 1122 Okara, ambulance and Renala Rescue firefighters all rushed to the scene of fire and started extinguishing the inferno from three sides.
The rescue operation to put out the fire completely is still in progress. Sources said that the cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.
