In a grievous incident on Friday, five individuals, including a couple, their two children, and a guest, tragically lost their lives to electrocution in Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan. The local hospital received the bodies, though the identities of the victims are yet to be confirmed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

This heart-wrenching event is not an isolated incident of its kind. In a separate occurrence earlier in Pakpattan, Punjab, electrocution claimed the lives of three more individuals, including a young child.

Details emerging from the Punjab incident reveal that a 30-year-old man met his untimely demise due to an electric shock in the Sabzi Mandi area of Pakpattan. Adding to the somber news, a two-year-old girl tragically succumbed after coming into contact with a live power cable in the vicinity. Another separate incident in Village 67 reported the loss of a 32-year-old man's life, further accentuating the gravity of the situation.

As the nation mourns these losses, questions are raised about the safety measures in place and the state of electrical infrastructure in these regions. It is hoped that these tragic incidents will spur local authorities into taking immediate action to address the issue and prevent further mishaps in the future.
