Reshuffle in top bureaucracy

The caretaker government has notified fresh transfers and postings in the top bureaucracy, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division,  Dr Muhammad Fakhr-i-Alam Irfan has been posted as Sindh chief secretary

Fakhr-i-Alam, who was serving as the Housing and Works Division Secretary, has replaced Dr Muhammad Sohail Rajput.

The chief secretaries of Balochistan and AJK have been asked to report to the Establishment Division.

National Heritage Secretary Farina Mazhar and Naval Affairs Ministry Secretary Ghafran Memon have been removed and directed to report to the Establishment Division, the notification stated.

It said Aram Anjum Khan has been appointed  Ministry of Naval Affairs Secretary and Interior Secretary Ali Murtaza has been transferred and posted Water Resources Secretary while Director General of Civil Services Academy Lahore Kamran Ali Afzal transferred and posted as Secretary of Cabinet Division

Water Resources Secretary Hasan Nasir Jami transferred and posted to Information Technology Secretary, the notification said, added that OSD Shehzad Khan Bangash becomes Housing Secretary and OSD Asif Haider Shah Climate Change Secretary

Commandant National Police Academy AD Khawaja transferred and posted Human Rights Secretary. Humira Ahmed has been appointed National Heritage secretary while  Ali Raza was made Science and Technology Secretary and Sara Saeed Special Secretary of the Trade Division

Balochistan Chief Secretary Abdul Aziz, AJK Chief Secretary Usman, Cabinet Division Special Secretary Aslam Dar and IT  Secretary Naveed Ahmed Shaikh have been asked to report to the Establishment Division.
