Another camel’s leg injured with axe in Umarkot

An increase in incidents of animal cruelty in Sindh as another camel's leg was injured by an axe in village Bajeerveri, in the desert area of Umarkot, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The sad incident took place with a camel in Khokhrapar police station limits. The injured camel kept moaning in severe pain, the doctor was repeatedly called but could not be treated. The camel grazing in a field in the desert area was allegedly hit with axes and injured.
The owner of the camel, Shaukat Rahman, alleged that my camel was injured by Hoti Mungreo and Nabi Bakhsh Mangreo with an axe. He said that the local people reported the incident to the Livestock Department, but nobody could reach to inspect it. He said that the injured camels require intensive care where bandages are applied.
It may be mentioned here that two incidents of leg cutting of camels occurred in different areas of interior Sindh.
