Arshad Nadeem visits Lahore Safari Park, appeals for wildlife protection and tree plantations

National hero Arshad Nadeem visited Lahore Safari Park, where he appealed to the public for the protection of wildlife and increased tree plantation efforts, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
Punjab Wildlife DG, Mudassar Riaz Malik, gave Arshad Nadeem a tour of various sections of the park, which the athlete praised for its cleanliness and modern renovations. He also planted a tree within the park's premises.
DG Wildlife Punjab presented him with a check for Rs. 2 million, while Kohat Cement Company’s management handed over an additional Rs. 1 million. Furthermore, EnViro announced the donation of all household electronic items for Arshad Nadeem's personal use.
A special ceremony was organised in the park, where Arshad Nadeem, alongside DG Wildlife Punjab Mudassar Riaz Malik, cut a cake to celebrate Independence Day and his recent gold medal victory.
Addressing the gathering, Arshad Nadeem expressed his gratitude, saying, "My gold medal victories have united all Pakistanis, and I am overjoyed. If we, as Pakistanis, remain united, we can overcome even the greatest challenges."
DG Wildlife Punjab Mudassar Riaz Malik acknowledged Arshad Nadeem's historic achievement, stating, "By winning the gold medal, he has not only written history but also united the entire Pakistani nation. This achievement will inspire youth across the country. Pakistan is rich in talent. We need to establish sports academies to further empower our youth."
