Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Monday embarked on a visit to Kuwait, extending condolences on the sad demise of Amir Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
During his meeting with the new Amir Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Sabah, the Prime Minister offered his heartfelt condolences on behalf of the leadership, government and people of Pakistan.
He said Pakistani nation stands united with our Kuwaiti brothers in this time of sorrow and grief.
Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said the State of Kuwait has lost a visionary leader, who transformed Kuwait into a prosperous State.
Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah will be remembered as well-wisher and friend of Pakistan who made great contributions in advancing bilateral relations between the two brotherly states.
He highlighted the significant contributions made by the late Amir in advancing bilateral relations between the two brotherly states.
