Pakistan sees uptick in Covid infections

There is little uptick in the coronavirus infectivity ratio as Pakistan reported 30 more coronavirus cases with no fatality during the last 24 hours, showed the statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Sunday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the NIH data, the death toll in the country remained unchanged at 30,641 whereas the number of total infections now climbed up to 1,576,687 after adding the fresh 30 cases. Yesterday, the number of positive cases was 17.
During the last 24 hours, 4,483 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio rose to 0.67% from previous day’s 0.33 percent. The number of patients in critical care stood at 13.
