PTI submits affiliation affidavits of 38 MNAs to ECP

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has submitted affiliation forms for 38 independent members to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, affidavits of allegiance from three independent members have yet to be submitted.
The TV channel reported that the affidavits of the PTI's elected representatives, Sahibzada Mehmood Sultan and Mobeen Arif, will be submitted to the ECP today.
It is also reported that Sahibzada Mehmood Sultan, Mobeen Arif, and Riaz Fatyana are currently abroad, but the affiliation forms for Sultan and Arif have been received by the party.
The sources said additional documents are also attached to the affiliation forms submitted to the ECP.
On the other hand, an important meeting chaired by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja is underway to discuss the allocation of reserved seats to PTI.
The sources said the meeting will consider various aspects of implementing the Supreme Court's decision regarding the reserved seats of the PTI.
The sources said the Election Commission's legal team will brief the meeting about the legalities of the matter.
