Haramain Administration bans locals to perform Umrah sans permission 

Saudi Arabia has imposed a ban on locals and residents from performing the pilgrimage (Umrah) without permission, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
 Osama al-Hajili, Secretary Haramain Shareefain administration, said that those who wish to perform Umrah should obtain a permit. “The locals and foreign residents who are working on Saudi soil should get an Umrah permit through Nusuk and Tawakkalna applications.”
He advised the aspirants that they should keep in mind the crowd of Haram while choosing the time to perform Umrah. During the holy month of Ramazan, there is a large gathering of the people so the locals should choose a suitable time for the noble cause, he added.
