On the directives of the Punjab government, police in Lahore continue to raid the homes and outhouses of the PTI leaders and workers in order to prevent a large gathering at the party’s rally scheduled to be held in the city on September 22, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to the PTI’s spokesman, a large contingent of police raided the party leader Ali Adnan’s outhouse in Fatehgarh, resorted to vandalism and even broke the locker of Munshi’s office and stole Rs235,000 from it.

Similarly, he informed, the Force also raided the party leader Jibran Haider Shah’s home in PP-151; however, failed to arrest him.

Police also raided the party worker Waseem Malik’s home; however, he was not present at home, the spokesman said.

It is worth-mentioning here that a PTI leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar has already filed a petition in the Lahore High Court (LHC), seeking the court order to the police to refrain from arresting party leaders and workers ahead of the public meeting.
