PTI Sindh leader Haleem Adil Sheikh’s driver shot dead in Karachi

The driver of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh president Haleem Adil Sheikh has been killed by unknown suspects in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to police, the dead body of a person was found near the Chaakar Hotel who later identified as Shahnawaz, driver of PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh.
Police said that Shahnawaz was shot dead and was killed at another location, and after killing, the body was dumped near the Chaakar Hotel.
Investigations related to personal enmity or resistance to robbery are ongoing, police said.
Police further said that 45-year-old Shah Nawaz was a resident of Jangal Goth. The deceased left home at 4 am for duty, and the body was found at 6:50 am.
According to the family of the deceased, during the inspection of the plots yesterday, there was an attack on Shah Nawaz, and the armed accused escaped due to the retaliatory firing of Shahnawaz.
Shahnawaz's motorcycle and licensed weapons were not there, the family said. The deceased was a resident of Janjal Goth Super Highway.
