The Sunni Tehreek-e-Pakistan held a protest against the government for its failure to control inflation, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

The Tehreek chief, Sarwat Ijaz Qadri, said that the government left the people in lurch. 

The protesters, including traders, rallied from Chowrangi to MA Jinnah Road Shah Alam Mazar.

Sarwat Ijaz Qadri said that  people have been committed suicide in bid to escape poverty

He said the people have started taking to the streets, setting alarms bells ringing for the rulers who have failed to provide them with relief.
