Punjab CM opens Islamia Ground Sports Complex

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has opened the Islamia Ground Sports Complex, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
The chief minister took rounds of various sections of the complex and played chess too.
He visited the gym, badminton hall, snooker room, table tennis hall and swimming pool, squash court, ladies' gym and snooker room. He appreciated the initiative of providing modern machines.
He praised the teams of the commissioner and LDA for providing the best facilities in the complex.
More than 20 indoor sports for men and women are at one point now, the chief chief minister said while talking to the media.
People are taking membership in Sports Complex, he said, adding that the fee of the sports complex will be two lakh rupees and the whole family can benefit from the membership.
He said the residents will have a healthy facility. The complex has cost 680 million rupees, he said adding that such a sports facility was not available in this area for a long time and the credit goes to the LDA team for completing it.
He said the Baba ground is being restored too. He urged the LDA to maintain the standard and said the complex will also be outsourced
He said the sports aide was unwell. He prayed for his early recovery too. He said the DC has been directed to improve the condition of cricket grounds
He laid stress on following the traffic rules to avert accidents. He said action has been taken against those who attacked Doctors Hospital, Mohsen Naqvi said
Officials concerned accompanied the chief minister.
