JUI chief offers condolences to Afghan ambassador over demise of Haqqani

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman visited the Afghan embassy in Islamabad on Monday, where he met Afghanistan's ambassador, Sardar Ahmad Jan Shakeeb, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed profound sorrow over the martyrdom of Mullah Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani.
He offered prayers for the forgiveness of the deceased and the elevation of his spiritual rank.
Terming the demise of Mullah Haqqani an irreparable loss for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Maulana Fazlur Rehman extended his heartfelt condolences to the leadership of Afghanistan and the bereaved family.
During the visit, he was accompanied by JUI's central spokesperson, Muhammad Aslam Ghori, and party leader Maulana Jamaluddin.
