Sher Afzal Marwat, a prominent member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has announced his departure from active party duties citing a breach of his self-respect.

Marwat expressed his grievances on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that he felt humiliated and disrespected by the party leadership.

Responding to a follower’s query about PTI’s efforts to release Imran Khan from jail, Marwat disclosed that he had been stripped of all responsibilities, allegedly under Khan’s directive.

He declared he would no longer engage in party activities unless specifically asked by Imran Khan himself.

Marwat’s candid admission highlighted his prioritization of self-respect, stating he cannot work in an environment where his dignity is compromised.

“I can be a little unusual and psychotic in certain situations but of all things, self-respect is at the top of my list of priorities,” he shared, illustrating his deep sense of hurt over the party’s treatment.
