Prisoners clash in Adiala Jail; One injured in self-made cutter attack

A violent altercation occurred among prisoners at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, resulting in one inmate getting injured from a cutter attack, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
According to the details, the incident took place three days ago, on August 29, near Chakkar Mosque within the jail premises, when Atish Hussain, an inmate detained on murder charges, got into a fight with another inmate, Anjum.
FIR has been lodged at Police Station Saddar Bairooni by Assistant Superintendent Imran Shehzad.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), Atish Hussain attacked Anjum with a self-made cutter, inflicting injuries to Anjum's neck, head, and shoulder.
The injured prisoner was given medical assistance from the jail authorities, and the medical report has been submitted along with the FIR.
As per the police report, the Chief Warder of the jail, Nawab Khan, and Warder Riaz Iqbal witnessed the incident.
