On the orders of the accountability court, medical check-up of Bushra Bibi, wife of former prime minister Imran Khan, was carried out at Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Earlier, Bushra Bibi was brought from Sub-Jail Bani Gala to Shifa International Hospital amid tight security.

Islamabad Police and FC personnel remained alert at the hospital for for the security of Bushra Bibi.

A heavy contingent of female police also remained present outside the hospital during the medical procedure of Bushra Bibi.

Adiala Jail doctors and Dr Asim Yusuf of Shaukat Khanum Hospital also accompanied Bushra Bibi.

Bushra Bibi reportedly underwent endoscopy and other medical tests, sources in the hospital sources.
