An elderly woman was injured in unprovoked firing by Indian troops on a village in Sabzkot Sector across the Line of Control (LoC) on Thursday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of the Pakistan Army, the Indian Army opened firing on the villages on the Pakistani side of Kashmir in violation of the ceasefire agreement. As a result, a 70 years old woman was injured in Khui village.

The Pakistan Army responded effectively to the Indian firing, the ISPR said in a statement.
