PML-N leader Ataullah Tarar has said that the Punjab government has registered cases against the Nawaz League leaders in retaliation of Shahbaz Gill’s arrest in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media outside the Islamabad High Court on Saturday where the PML-N leaders came to submit their protective bail applications, Tarar said that Pervaiz Elahi was ruling Punjab where dacoities were on the rise.
The PML-N leader warned the Punjab government of consequences of this political retribution.
Tarar dubbed Punjab Chief Minister Elahi a puppet and a toy whose key was in the hands of Imran Khan. He said that the Punjab government was being run from Banigala.
He was of the view that cases against the PML-N leaders in Punjab were registered in revenge as the Islamabad police got PTI leader Gill arrested in a sedition case and the Punjab police were registering cases against them out of vengeance.
He dared the Punjab government to produce proofs against them if it had any.
Tarar further informed the media that authorities did not let PTI Chief Imran Khan meet Gill at PIMS Hospital on Friday because the latter came to meet Gill without submitting a prior request for the meeting.
On this occasion, Rana Mashhood said that it’s the time to reject the whims of a ‘Ladla’ (blue-eyed person) as they were against the interests of the country.
