NCOC allows vaccine booster shots from Jan 1

The NCOC has decided to administer booster shots of the Covid-19 vaccine to all the people above 30 years of age from Jan 1, 2022, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The National Command and Operation Centre in its meeting on Monday reviewed the national vaccination campaign strategy and elimination of the Covid-19 pandemic with the help of graphic charts.
It was decided in the meeting to take strict measures for compulsory inoculation. The meeting allowed to give booster shots to all people who are above 30 from Jan 1, 2022.
According to the NCOC, 713,582 people were administered vaccines in the last 24 hours and the inoculation of 58% people has been completed across the country.
The NCOC informed that 58,000 cases of Omicron variant have been found in 95 countries of the world. Since Europe remains the hotbed of this epidemic, the highest number of cases have been reported in the UK and Denmark.
In India, 149 cases of Omicron have been reported so far.
The NCOC urged all the provinces to make sure vaccination of all people.
