Fire breaks out in Karachi's Parsa Tower, damaging several floors

A fire suddenly broke out in a multi-storey building in Karachi, damaging several floors before it was doused by hours-long operation by fire-fighters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The blast started in Parsa Tower located on Shahrah-e-Faisal, spreading fast from fifth floor to the ninth.
Fire brigade crew succeeded in extinguishing the fire after 11 hours while the cooling process was still going on.
Fourteen vehicles of fire brigade, one snorkel and ten water tankers were used to extinguish the blaze.

The Parsa Tower has three parking floors and 10 offices floors.
The fire spread from fifth to ninth floor and maximum damage was caused on fifth, sixth and eighth floors, according to fire brigade officials.
