Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered removal of encroachments on a permanent basis, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Chairing a special meeting in Lahore on Friday, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz directed to improve monitoring of ongoing development projects.
Chief Minister further directed that people should see a clear difference in improvement in governance.
Potholes should not be seen on roads in alleys and neighborhoods, Maryam Nawaz directed.
She directed that green belts should be made around underpasses and under overhead bridges in big cities.
Maryam Nawaz instructed that zebra-crossings and cat eyes should be installed in front of educational institutions.
Maryam Nawaz commended Sargodha and Rawalpindi commissioners for their good performance.
