PPSC shuffles interview panel to favour blue-eyed candidate

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has changed the panel of interviews of Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the eleventh hour to ensure the selection of the blue-eyed candidates on two seats, reported 24NewsHD TV channel, quoting its sources on Saturday.
Citing the sources, the TV channel reported that Professor Hanif and Professor Faisal Mushtaq were first listed in the interview panel and then abruptly removed from the list.
Both the professors had apologised for the selection of the ‘preferred’ candidate.
The sources claimed that the panel was changed and later Prof Tariq Sohail and Dr Abu Bakar were included in the panel.
Interviews for two seats of Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery were held on 18th and 19th February.
The TV channel reported that there was a strong possibility of appointment of the ‘preferred’ candidate as Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery.
