CDA waives entry fee for all parks in Islamabad

Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad has waived the entry fee of all parks for the general public, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A decision to this effect was taken by the CDA board in its meeting held in Islamabad on Monday.
According to the decision, F-9 Park, Lake View Park, Daman Koh, and other parks will be freed for visitors.
The Capital Development Authority’s board had given its permission to the operation of feeder buses on 13 more routes in Islamabad.
The board also gave its signal to the bids received in the auction of commercial plots.
The CDA Board gave in principle its nod to redesign Sarina Chowk.
Under this project, a single-barrel underpass will be constructed at Sarina Chowk.
The PC-2 for the construction of more parking plazas in Islamabad was also approved in the meeting. These parking plazas will be constructed at F-8 Markaz, F-10 Markaz, I-8 Markaz, G-9 Markaz, and Blue Area.
The CDA Board also approved the construction of the National Bus Service in I-11 Islamabad.
