Mathira schools TikToker Asad Ray for ‘beating his wife’

Famous Tiktoker Asad Ray has 7.5 million followers on social media site. He was invited as a guest to Mathira’s ‘The Insta Show’ along with a fellow female social media influencer. In the show, Asad responded to a query with a reply that was both insensitive and disturbing.

“Have you ever fought with someone?” Mathira inquired from Asad.

“Fight with whom?” inquired Asad instantly. To which Mathira responded, "Whom you live with." I want to know if you and your wife ever fought. Asad replied, “Yes!” I came here after beating her.”

As soon as Mathira heard Asad made this remark about assaulting his wife, she immediately called him out on it and cross-questioned him. Mathira began correcting him, saying that she despises such individuals and that what he had said wasn't a joke, didn't sound right, and shouldn't have been stated. Calling such actions abominable, she said, "Your comments were too bad, it's not a joke." 

Asad Ray then clarified his stance that he had not intended to imply that. He respects his wife instead, and he beat her out of affection. He stated that he never physically abused her.

He claimed that because he is just semi-literate, his comment was not actually expressed correctly. He merely completed his matriculation, and that too with cheating.
