Giving an opinion on the development in the cypher case against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Federal Minister for Interior Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan said personal secretary Azam Khan's confession statement is a charge sheet against Imran Khan.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that a conspiracy was hatched against the country by spreading false cypher from former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Interior Minister Sanaullah said Azam Khan's confession statement is not only an indictment against PTI Chairman but also confirms their conversation in the leaked audio.
Rana Sanaullah said Imran Khan played the cypher game for his personal and political interests and former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi was also fully involved in this crime.
The federal interior minister said the country's economy was also affected by the crisis as the PTI chairman created anarchy in the country for personal gain over this issue.
Sanaullah said the cypher case should be heard in the special court from the state and PTI Chairman Imran Khan must pay the price of such conspiracy in any case.
Talking about missing the cypher, the federal interior minister said he was sure that it has not been lost and was still in the possession of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He said the possession of an official secret document is a worldwide crime and the cypher drama from former premier Imran Khan was a conspiracy gainst Pakistan and its institutions.
He said PTI's players have now committed self-confessed crimes like a cypher and May 9 violence against the country and they have also exposed the real 'Mir Jaffar' [traitor].
Sanaullah said Azam Khan barred former prime minister Imran Khan to make the secret documents public but he did not follow him and made it public.
He said this type of crime will continue until PTI Chairman Imran Khan is arrested and the cypher is recovered from his possession. He added that the May 9 tragedy was also a continuation of the same conspiracy as they have links outside the country.
