Sher Afzal Marwat Friday appeared before Civil Judge Muhammad Mumtaz Hanjara, leading to the cancellation of his arrest warrant, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Marwat has been accused by the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) of illegal constructions and violating bylaws on his farmhouse in Mouza Katarian.
The non-bailable arrest warrant was issued by Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Mumtaz Hanjara on July 15. The court has adjourned the hearing until July 30.
