After the leaked telephonic call of banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militant Noor Wali Mehsud with one of his associates surfaced on Friday, the government has conducted its forensic so that tough action could be taken against both these men for carrying out an attack on a rural health center in Dera Ismael Khan, which resulted in the deaths of several women and children, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Sources told 24News TV channel that in the call, Mehsud could be heard giving instructions to Ahmad Hussain alias Ghut Haji to blow up hospitals, government installations and even schools.
He could also be heard directing Haji to bomb the homes of police personnel as well as army officers.
Seeing a strong public reaction after news of the call was aired on mainstream media, the extremist group tried to portray the call as Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated, sources informed.
They told 24News that Pakistan would also register a strong protest with the Afghan government for not taking action against Mehsud and other Afghanistan-based militants who are continuously carrying out attacks inside Pakistan with impunity.
Apart from that, sources informed, the government would also demand the Taliban to immediately hand over the wanted men to Pakistan.
They went on to say that the Taliban government had completely failed to rein in the extremists based in Afghanistan, and that Pakistan would go to any extent to eliminate the scourge of terrorism.
