Noor, who used to amuse himself by alerting authorities by giving false information was held by the police in Karachi. He said that 15 days ago, he called on 15 Helpline and sensitized the authorities regarding discovery of two dead bodies. “After giving wrong information regarding dead bodies, I switched off my phone,” he said.
The accused further told the police during grilling that a couple of days ago, he again rang the emergency service 15 and gave a wrong information that a man had murdered his wife. Again, he switched off his phone as per his wont.
But now the prankster said that he was sorry for his mischief and sought pardon from the authorities.
According to police, the accused time and again gave wrong information regarding discovery of dead bodies in Rind Goth. But when the police and rescue officials reached the place, they were unable to find any bodies over there.
