Sialkot police conducted a raid on Usman Dar's residence, Jinnah House, in Sialkot, on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The house was surrounded and subsequently sealed by law enforcement.
The raid occurred during an Eid Milan party organized by Usman Dar's mother, Rehana Dar. Heavy police presence was reported around the residence, with officers stationed on all sides.
Rehana Dar was prevented from meeting with party workers during the event. "We held a worker convention earlier, and Jinnah House was sealed at that time too. Today, we organized an Eid Milan ceremony, and it was sealed again," said Umar Dar.
PTI's Eid Milan event was scheduled to take place in Sialkot, but following the police action, the party had to relocate.
"Police are stationed on all sides of Jinnah House," Umar Dar stated, expressing frustration at the situation.
In related events, PTI ticket holder Maher Kashif was arrested by the police. Kashif, who had attended the Eid Milan party, was apprehended by police shortly after the event and transported in a police vehicle.
The sealing of Jinnah House marks another instance of increasing tensions between PTI and the authorities, as the party continues to face significant challenges in organizing its events.
