Skipper Babar Azam in pre-match virtual conference said that he was really excited to perform in front of the home crowd in Lahore against Australia where he was playing for the first time in a test match, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“I can explain my feeling in words. Definitely, it’s a different feeling to play in Lahore for the first time,” he said.
Answering a question, Babar Azam said that he has been practicing as a bowler as well for quite some time now because the plan is to present some different kind of bowling for the batsmen who usually set themselves with the known bowling attack.
The skipper defended Azhar Ali and imam ul Haq and said both performed well in the previous tests and with just a performance of a match, you cannot pick and choose someone in the team.
