Director Nabeel 'tricks' Nausheen Shah over crypto investment

The talented Pakistani actress Nausheen Shah made an appearance on Nadia Khan's Ramadan show, where she revealed that renowned filmmaker Nabeel Ur Rehman Lutfi deceived her of 3.5 million rupees and disappeared.
During the candid conversation with the host, when the actress was asked about experiencing betrayal, she shared that she had recently faced such a situation and disclosed details about the fraudulent scheme of the director.
Nausheen mentioned that she handed over a substantial sum of 2 million rupees to Nabeel, who was supposedly her friend, to invest in crypto after he convinced her about it. Additionally, she lent him another 1.5 million rupees for his upcoming film without any formal documentation. However, he disappeared after receiving all the money.
The lady cautioned everyone against giving him any money and emphasized the importance of having proper documentation if they chose to do so, a step she overlooked due to her own carelessness.

The actress eventually discovered that Nabeel and his wife pulled off the same scheme with several other celebrities, collecting approximately Rs 60 million before disappearing. The couple is currently in hiding, with their phones switched off, and FIRs have been filed against them.
It is pertinent to mention here that Nabeel-Ur-Rehman Lutfi is a Karachi-based director, producer, and music director who is mostly known for directing many commercials and producing the OST and BGM of many TV serials, short films, and feature films.
