Ch Nisar to take oath as MPA next week

Veteran politician and former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, who had won a Punjab Assembly seat, PP-10, from Rawalpindi in the 2018 general elections, has at last decided to take the oath of his office, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to reports, Ch Nisar will take oath next week. He has taken the decision following consultations with his friends.
Chaudhry Nisar has been advised to take the oath to his office before the introduction of electoral reforms being brought forward by the federal government.

According to these proposed reforms, if a returning candidate does not take oath to his/her office within three months of the election, his/her seat will be considered vacant.
If these electoral reforms were approved then Ch Nisar and PML-N former finance minister Ishaq Dar may be deprived of their seats.
