Four Pak Army soldiers embraced martyrdom in two separate firefights with terrorists in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, ISPR said on Thursday.

According to the military media wing, on the night between October 18 and 19, two fierce encounters took place between troops and terrorists in North and South Waziristan districts.

The troops killed six terrorists, including ringleader Hazrat Zaman, alias Khawarey Mullah, in the Gharyoum area of North Waziristan district, ISPR said, adding that three brave sons of the soil embraced martyrdom in the combat.

The martyrs are Lance Naik Tabbasumul Haq (36-year-old resident of Rawalpindi), Sepoy Naeem Akhtar (30-year-old resident of Attock) and Sepoy Abdul Hameed (23-year-old resident of Multan).

In the anti-terror combat in the Asman Manza area of the South Waziristan district, Sepoy Farman Ali (25-year-old resident of Kashmore) embraced martyrdom.

The security forces continued the hunt for terrorists. The armed forces are determined to root out terrorism and such sacrifices of the brave sons of soil strengthen their peace resolve.
