Torkham landslide: Another body retrieved, all deceased belong to Afghanistan

Rescuers retrieved another body from the debris of the Torkham landslide site, the Khyber deputy commissioner said on Friday.
The number of dead bodies recovered in the accident has reached 6, the DC added,
All the deceased are stated to be Afghans. The search operation of Rescue 1122 continued uninterruptedly
As stones started falling again, the operation was stalled for some time, the emergency agency said.
Rescue personnel and operational machinery were rushed to the side of the accident site. So far 25 cargo containers have been retrieved.
A massive Landslide near the Torkham border crossing with Afghanistan buried dozens of trucks in the wee hours of Tuesday. The crossing is a key trade route between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Civil and military rescuers have been on the spot for the retrieval of bodies and injured. More than 120 trucks were reportedly waiting to cross the border when the tragedy took place.
