Pakistan Muslim League (Q) central leader Chaudhry Salik Hussain has said the Constitution of the country is supreme but not the President of Pakistan, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Talking to media persons after the opening ceremony of the youth wing of the PML-Q  held at its head office in Lahore, he questioned President Arif Alvi did not give any reason for refusing the Official Secrets (Amendment) Bill, 2023, and the Pakistan Army (Amendment) Bill, 2023.

He said that PML-Q will provide maximum opportunities to the youth of the nation during its government in the future.

Replying to a question, he said that the PML-Q was consulted for the nomination of the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar Ul Haq Kakar.

“If the election does not take place on time, there must be a reason for it,” he hinted.

To a question, he said that we did not go to woo Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in prison.

Yet another question, he said seat adjustment has been discussed with Shahbaz Sharif.
