Dengue cases on rise in Lahore with 22 new cases reported in last 24 hours

Dengue fever is on the rise in the provincial capital of Punjab as 22 cases of dengue have been reported in Lahore during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of Dengue virus cases to 60, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to reports, 41 confirmed cases of dengue virus are being treated in public sector hospitals while 19 patients are admitted to private sector hospitals for treatment.
According to details, three patients are under treatment in Shalimar Hospital, four in Farooq Hospital, two in Surgimed Hospital, six in Ganga Ram Hospital, three in Sharif Medical City, two in Evercare Hospital, one in Bahria Hospital, nine in Mayo Hospital, one in General Hospital, three in Nawaz Sharif Yakki Gate Hospital, two in Fatima Memorial Hospital, one in Children's Hospital, one in Shehbaz Sharif Hospital and one in Doctor Hospital.
This year, most dengue patients were reported from Ravi Town, Nishtar Town, Aziz Bhatti Town, and Allama Iqbal Town, while dengue larvae were found in more than 900 places in Lahore last day.
