CM Maryam Nawaz reaches Rajanpur to review relief activities for flood victims

Amid rain and flooding, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has reached Rajanpur district to review the relief activities for flood victims, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
CM Maryam conducted an aerial inspection of the flood-affected areas on a helicopter. She also visited Haji Pura Village in Tehsil Fazilpur and met with affected families and children.
In an interaction with old women of the village, Maryam Nawaz inquired about the problem being faced by the people of the area and relief activities started by the district administration.
Chief Minister Punjab reviewed the food and water, medicine and other relevant arrangements for the flood victims.
Chief Minister Punjab was briefed by the officials of the Deputy Commissioner office, Irrigation Department and Disaster Committee. She was briefed about relief and rehabilitation measures in flood affected areas.
Punjab CM on the occasion directed the district administration that the flood victims should be facilitated in a best possible way and in this respect negligence will be tolerated.
Chief Minister said she was personally monitoring the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims. She directed that aarrangements should be ensured to protect against epidemics and rain related diseases.
