Punjab government spokesperson Musarrat Jamshed Cheema has accused the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leadership and military organizations of being involved in horse trading, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
“Our women MPAs have been offered Rs5 billion, the spokesperson said while talking to the media at Zaman Park.
Flanked by members of the provincial assembly, she said the Rs5 billion offer is being made to change loyalty.
The spokesperson added “Self-proclaimed neutrals are engaged in political manoeuvring. Despite the declaration of being apolitical, interference in political matters from within the army is a condemnable act.
“The PDM leaders are present in Lahore. However, their dream of overthrowing the Punjab government won't come true. The military leadership took notice of the matter to make the state organ apolitical.”
