Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the government will take all-out steps for restoring peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa especially Kurram district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) chief Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao at his residence in Islamabad on Saturday, the interior minister said Kurram crisis is a very sensitive issue; therefore no one should politicize it.
Mohsin Naqvi said said in KP Apex Committee meeting, key decisions were made for restoring peace in Kurram. Naqvi made it clear that for restoring peace in KP, the government will take all-out steps for it.
Earlier, Qaumi Watan Party chairman Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao welcomed Interior Minister at his residence. During the meeting, Naqvi and Sherpao discussed matters of mutual interest.
Political situation and law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa especially Kurram district was discussed in detail.
Naqvi briefed Aftab Sherpao about the measures taken for sustainable peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in Kurram. Naqvi said that Sherpao is a seasoned senior politician and his political services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cannot be denied.
