Islamabad United have set a target of 145 runs for Multan Sultans in the fifth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine being played at Multan Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Multan Sultan pacers Muhammad Ali and Abbas Afridi besides the spinner Usama Mir destroyed the batting of Islamabad United on a slow wicket.
Islamabad United had lost openers Colin Munro and Alex Hales early. David Willey got rid of Alex Hales, when he removed the latter on 8-ball 2. The wicket gave Mohammad Ali confidence to flummox New Zealander Colin Munro on 13-ball 8.
Agha Salam and Jordan Cox efforts propelled the sinking ship to a reasonable total 144 for all in 20 overs.
Earlier, Multan Sultans won the toss and opted to bowl first against Islamabad United.
