Pakistani shares photos of Sun from new telescope

Pakistani Astronomer Shaheer Niazi has made an announcement that the IST has acquired a Lunt152 Hydrogen alpha solar telescope this week.
He tweeted that his team set up and tested the telescope that is the largest production solar telescope and currently the only one in Pakistan.

He also shared a few shots taken by the telescope.

He said that this is largest production solar telescope and the only one in Pakistan.
While appreciated and lauding the faculty of the space department, he said “all credit goes to the faculty at the department of space science who worked hard to acquire the funds and tackled the legal matters to bring this telescope to Pakistan.”
