Cop turned out to be bootlegger in Layyah

A police constable in Layyah has turned out to be a bootlegger as a large quantity of liquor has been recovered from his dera, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on Monday recovered a large quantity of wine from the place (dera) of constable Akram. On a tip off, the CIA raided the constable’s dera in Chak 281 and recovered 1,020 bottles of foreign liquor. The recovered alcohol is worth more than Rs0.7 million.
Police registered a case against constable Akram and his accomplice Abdul Ghaffar in Chowk Azam police station and put them behind the bars.
Constable Akram was working as a driver in Tel Indus police post in the precincts of Sadr police station. DPO Syed Ali Raza took a stern action of the incident and ordered constable Akram’s immediate removal.
