Karachi doctor sent to jail on judicial remand over child’s death

A doctor of Karachi, who had been arrested for allegedly administering a wrong injection to a child which caused his death, was produced before a judicial magistrate on Tuesday who sent him to jail on judicial remand, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The magistrate sent Dr Umar to jail on judicial remand and also ordered the authorities concerned to exhume the body of the child for post-mortem.
The court of the judicial magistrate also ordered the health secretary to form a medical board in this regard.
The court also sought a progress report by June 24 next.
