Dipalpur woman gang-raped in front of husband during house robbery

A 52-year-old woman was gang-raped in front of her husband by dacoits during a house robbery in Dipalpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Okara District Police Officer (DPO) Mansoor Aman reached the house of the victims after being informed about the shocking incident.

Younis, a labourer, was in the house with his wife Muntaj when three dacoits barged into the house.

They held the couple hostage and looted Rs2,000 and a cell phone.

One of the dacoits kept his gun pointed at the labourer while the other two raped his wife.

Thereafter, the accused escaped the scene.

The police registered a case of house robbery and rape and launched a search for the arrest of the accused.
