Trader tricked with million-dollar note in Muzaffargarh

Three fraudsters tricked a trader and looted him by giving him a fake note of $1 million in Kot Addu tehsil of Muzaffargarh district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident happened in Mehmood Kot area of Kot Addu where fraudsters sold a fake note of $1 million to Arshad Taqi, a petrol pump owner, for Rs100 million. Not only this, they took an advance of Rs0.8 million and disappeared.
The victim told the police that accused Aamir Ahmed, Abdul Razzaq and Juma Khan came to his petrol pump and showed him a currency note of $1 million and its related documents.
The accused tempted him saying that $1 million currency note is worth Rs280 million but they will sell it for Rs100 million. The trader was then duped into believing their manipulation.
He gave them Rs0.8 million advance payment and after taking the advance money, the accused handed him over a fake note of $1 million. However, the unfortunate man eventually learned that the note was a forgery, though.
A case was registered against the three fraudsters on the complainant of the victim.
