Punjab Govt eases restrictions, opens parks, gives permissions for festivals, exhibitions

Amid decline in smog, Punjab government has started easing restrictions in provincial capital and all across province from Friday (tomorrow), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Director General Punjab Environment Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh issued a notification of ease in restrictions. According to the notification, all recreational places including parks, zoo, play grounds indoor and outdoors sports across Punjab have been opened. All recreational places will remain open till 8pm night.
Punjab government has also given permission for festivals and exhibitions. Markets in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala will close at 8pm and all markets will close at 8 pm including Saturday and Sunday. The decision will apply to shops, shopping malls and markets. However, basic necessities shops including pharmacies, bakeries, departmental and grocery stores will remain open. Bakeries have also been allowed to operate after 8 pm.
