Balochistan MPs’ disappearance giving chills to no-trust backers

The disappearance of four members of Balochistan Assembly on the eve of tabling of no-confidence motion against Chief Minister Jam Kamal Alyani yesterday is giving chills to the disgruntled members of the BAP and the opposition who proposed the resolution and were confident of its success, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The voting on the no-trust motion against Jam Kamal will take place on Monday.
Sources told 24News TV channel on Thursday that a long meeting was held at the residence of Balochistan Assembly Speaker Abdul Quddus Bizenjo. Besides the estranged members of government, the members of opposition also participated in the meeting.
The participants expressed their resolve to put up a strong fight against the obstinate chief minister who is unwilling to resign.
Sources said as many as 34 provincial lawmakers took part in the late night gathering which lasted till 3am. They held consultation on how to make the no-trust movement successful.
Sources further revealed that some participants suggested making contacts with the ‘disappeared’ MPs.
During provincial assembly session yesterday, Food Minister Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran claimed that five of their members including Akbar Askani, Lala Rasheed, Bushra Rind, Mah Jabeen and Laila Tarin could not reach the assembly. He said they were missing and demanded their immediate release.
