Celebrities show solidarity with Palestinians

Renowned Pakistani celebrities have broken the silence and come forward in order to express their unwavering support for Palestinians facing tough times in their life.

Taking to their Instagram handles, they have condemned the attacks by Israel, rallying behind the cause of Palestine.

They joined a global call for peace.

The list of celebrities includes Ayeza Khan, Humayun Saeed, Saba Qamar, Mahira Khan, Hania Aamir, Feroze Khan, Ali Zafar, Iqra Aziz, Mawra Hocane, Momima Mustehsan, Sonya Hussyn, Osman Khalid Butt, Hassan Raheem, Ushna Shah, Muneeb Butt, Danish Taimoor, Talha Choudhary, Asim Azhar, Arsalan Naseer, Amar Khan, Afzu, Dur e Fishan and Yumna Zaidi.

"If you bomb a hospital. And still claim to be the victim. Speechless, Free Palestine" (hashtag), wrote singer Asim Azhar.

"I stand with Palestine, Gaza" (with an emoticon signifying a drop of blood), wrote Yumna Zaidi.

Musician Momina Mustehsan appealed to the humanity of Egypt and Jordan, urging them to allow safe passage for children caught in the crossfire.

"A growing total of babies, toddlers, and children have been killed so far. The emotional post continued to emphasize the unimaginable pain parents must be going through, seeing their children perish in the violence, You don't have to be a Muslim to stand with Palestine. You have to be a human", said Iqra Aziz.
