Maryam Nawaz off to London as PML-N bigwigs hold key meetings on Nawaz’s return

After former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif was summoned to London again within 48 hours of his arrival in Pakistan, PML-N senior vice president and chief organiser Maryam Nawaz also left for London on Thursday morning for important party meetings, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Maryam Nawaz reached Lahore Airport from Jati Umra and flew to London on an Etihad Airlines flight EY-242 at 4:50 AM, the airport sources said.
“Maryam Nawaz is going to London for her daughter’s admission to a university,” the family sources said.
“Maryam Nawaz will also hold important political meetings in London. She will hold important consultations in London regarding her father Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan,” the party sources said.
“She will also inform the party leadership about preparations for the reception of Nawaz Sharif upon his return to the country next month,” they added.
“The PML-N leadership will also be present in the consultation process in London,” they stated.
